U-Design SEO Enhancements
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) has been made a priority when designing the U-Design theme. In the code hierarchy, the main content block is placed before the sidebar regardless of the sidebar position, so it is crawled first by search engines. Another very powerful SEO feature has been implemented regarding Heading (h1, h2, h3,...) tags in that on the Home page the 'h1' tag is assigned to the site name and the rest of pages/posts/archives etc., the main Title has been assigned an 'h1' tag.
Icon Fonts
Icon fonts give you scalable vector icons that can instantly be customized just like you would regular fonts.
By default the theme comes with Font Awesome a collection of over 470 Icons.
You can also hand-pick icons with Fontello (an icon fonts generator) and upload them into the theme. There are many icon font collections on Fontello.com with over 2000 icons and counting as new collections are added.
Customizing the size, color, animation and add circle is very easy with the theme functions. You can add them with a shortcode or HTML.
