War & Peace Exhibition
Gothenburg City Center library
Designing the War & Peace exhibition was more than a project for us;
it was a dialogue between form, meaning, and human responsibility.
Design Intent
The spatial concept was developed around a circular arrangement surrounding a central square. The square, as a symbol of stability, structure, and groundedness, defined the core of the exhibition. The circle, representing continuity, humanity, and movement, expanded around it. This spatial interaction between circle and square reflected the conceptual tension between war and peace — between rigidity and fluidity, between conflict and possibility.
Spatial Structure
Simultaneously, the exhibition featured sculptures by the artist.
A key objective of our design was to ensure that each artwork preserved its individual identity.
The layout allowed every piece to breathe within its own visual boundary, creating a respectful dialogue between space and object rather than competition.
Visitors were invited to engage with each sculpture on a personal level.
All graphic materials and visual elements of the exhibition were designed and produced by our team.
From spatial graphics to informational elements, we developed a unified visual language that connected architecture and identity into one coherent experience.
Beyond the conceptual phase, we delivered full construction drawings and accompanied the project through realization.
This comprehensive approach defines our practice:
when we design, we take responsibility for every scale — from the smallest graphic detail to the overall spatial organization.
The exhibition received a highly positive response from visitors and the organizing association.
The warm reception, official appreciation, and public engagement confirmed that the spatial narrative resonated with its audience.
We were honored to design the War & Peace exhibition in the heart of Gothenburg.
This project was among our early private cultural commissions — and it remains one of the works closest to our hearts.
We believe design has no scale;
every project is an opportunity to create meaning
